Alpha Rwirangira-TPF 3 winner, Cynthia Akazuba-Miss East Africa, Sparks, Baby Wander, and other East African celebrities were among the people who participated in the “Walk to Remember”, which was held on Saturday, in Mukono district in Uganda.

After a two hours walk around Mukono town, Alpha performed to honour those who perished during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

“I’m always ready to participate in any activity that concerns my country; that’s why I came all the way from Rwanda to Uganda to promote solidarity, unity, and show Ugandans the effect of Genocide and why they should stop it from happening again,” Alpha said.

The ‘Walk to Remember’ was attended by Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Uganda, Frank Mugambage and the Mayor Kampala, Nasser Ssebagala among others.
