APR ladies close in

APR moved within two points of AS Kigali yesterday after thrashing bottom placed Rambura 9-0 at Kicuriko artificial turf.

Striker Annet Nacimbugwe scored a hat-trick, while Anatholie Nirere got a brace to give the military side a comfortable 5-0 first half lead.

After the break, the army side kept their feet on the accelerating pedal as Sylvie Nagawa joined in on the party with a brace while Aime Flora Tuziyere and defender Christine Wanyana scored a goal each. Earlier in the season, APR trounced Rubavu in similar fashion.

Else where, Inyemera moved into third place after a 5-1 win over Rubavu while Muhoza are now fourth after a 3-0 win over Bugesera.

Rwamagana based Aspej defeated Ruhango 1-0.
AS Kigali’s tie against Remera Rukoma was postponed due to heavy rains.
