True Way raises Rfw2.5m for their songs

True Way, an Adventist gospel group of nine girls, on Saturday staged an incredible concert at Hôtel des Mille Collines in Kigali. The reason was to raise funds for the release of their seven songs. According to the group’s advisor Patrick Kanyamibwa, Rfw2.5million in cash was collected from the concert that was solely sponsored by Hôtel des Mille Collines.

True Way, an Adventist gospel group of nine girls, on Saturday staged an incredible concert at Hôtel des Mille Collines in Kigali. The reason was to raise funds for the release of their seven songs.

According to the group’s advisor Patrick Kanyamibwa, Rfw2.5million in cash was collected from the concert that was solely sponsored by Hôtel des Mille Collines.

The concert attracted various people and local gospel and secular artists.

The True Way girls clad in glittery clothes stormed the stage capturing the crowd’s attention with their divine voices.   

The group that is famous for “Urimana”, has released three songs, and has seven more pending.

Aimé Uwimana, one of Rwanda’s renowned gospel artists confessed that he was impressed by the group’s talent, and was ready to offer his support.

The concert was mainly attended by the youth. Vanessa Uwera, who claimed to be a friend of the group said that, “True Way is an amazing talented group, and I attended the concert to give support.’

The gates were open at 8:00 p.m and the entrance was free.
