RWAMAGANA - Business persons operating in Rwamagana have voiced concerns over the persistent power blackouts which have forced them to make losses.

According to residents, power goes off from 7 am until 5pm, leaving most perishable goods to get spoilt.
Joseph Mutabingwa, a businessman dealing in vegetables said he was greatly affected.

“I have vegetables and other perishables that cannot withstand life without electricity,” he said.

The traders appealed to RECO- RWASCO to always inform their clients of impending changes or disruptions in power supply.

“It is poor service delivery, if they can take every bill to each door of a client, why can’t they bring the notices too,” another businessman noted.

The RWASCO official communication says that the problem will be solved in the next couple of days.
