ATRACO know that three points against Amagaju this afternoon will help them mount more pressure on the top two league sides; Etincelles and APR.

The taxi men, who have won five of their opening seven league fixtures face Amagaju at Nyamirambo’s regional stadium knowing that victory, will leave them level at the top of table with Etincelles, who have 19 points.

Atraco assistant head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha told Times Sport that losing last season’s league title on the last day will spur them on this term.

“The boys were heartbroken after losing the title last season and don’t need any special motivation this term.

They know that winning games is the only way to guarantee league success,” the 38-year-old noted.
Meanwhile, in other league matches, Marines will also look to grab some points from Electrogaz when the two clash at Umuganda stadium.

Marine are still bottom of the league with one point, while Electrogaz are sixth with 10 points.

At Mumena stadium, Police will hope to continue their good form when they host AS Kigali.

Police thrashed Rayon Sport 3-0 last week, with Jimmy Gatete claiming two of those goals.

Meanwhile, Etincelles title credentials will be given a stern test tomorrow when they host Champions APR at Umuganda stadium.

The Western Province club has surprised everyone with their brilliant start but their work is cut out for them when they play a club which has won the trophy a record 11 times since1994.
