After reading your complaint in The New Times newspapers of 9th November 2009, about how you were charged a huge amount of money for your water bill, we would like to inform you that Rwasco would not intentionally charge a customer without justification.
If the problem is one of water pressure, which was not properly addressed by our staff, we would like to advise you to see the branch manager or the commercial department.
We are ready to assist you , the customer, whenever you face any problems. We aim to be customer focused.
We take this opportunity to introduce to you the new water service, where we give facilities to our esteemed customers by providing a “PREPAYMENT CONTRACT SERVICE’ for water and electricity bills.
Nature of the Service
1. This service is designed for customers who wish to pay their bills of water and electricity six months to one year in advance
2. Prepayment for one month though bank transfer
This service is designed for customers, who wish to enter into a contract with RECO& RWASCO.
They will authorize their bank to debit a given amount of money for water and/or electricity monthly bills to be transferred to the RECO & RWASCO account.
1. No hassle with monthly bills
2. No disconnections
3. Accountability through reconciliation at an agreed period
The service is suitable for customers whose average water or electricity bill is more than 20,000 Rwf per month.
Customers on the system will sign an agreement with RECO&RWASCO for a minimum of six months (6) onwards.
