Friday:
7:00p.m: Live Free, or Die Hard (French).
When a criminal plot is in place to take down the entire computer and technological structure that supports the economy of the United States (and the world), it’s up to a decidedly old school hero, police detective John McClane, to take down the conspiracy, aided by a young hacker.

9:00 p.m: Three (English). Nisha (Urvashi Sharma) is haunted by bizarre sounds and a voice that keeps warning that would kill her.

Saturday:
7:00: G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (French).

Director: Sheldon Wilson
Starring: Gina Holden, Greg Bryk, Tim Rozon, and Stephen Amell

Well, this is a summer action film, and if you go in for that, you won’t be disappointed. If your looking for a movie with top notch acting or well a well devolved plot, you’ll be disappointed, though if you came into a GI Joe movie for those two things, what where you thinking?

If you’ve been keeping track of Stephen Sommers’ ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra’, then you know that the Cobra terrorist organization isn’t the up-front-and-center villains of the movie.

9:00p.m: Blue (English).

Starring: Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, Rahul Dev and Katrina Kaif.
Director: Anthony D’Souza.

The story of the film revolves around the search of treasure hidden in the deep blue waters of the sea near Bahamas. Aarav (Akshay Kumar), who owns Blue fishing company, and is a rich ambitious business man, wants his friend and employee Sagar (Sanjay Dutt) to go for it.

Sunday:
7:00 p.m: Screamers 2: The Hunting (French):
Director: Sheldon Wilson
Starring: Gina Holden, Lt. Victoria Bronte Jana Pallaske, Schwartz Lance Henriksen, and Orsow.
“Screamers” is one of those very cool sci-fi movies that didn’t get a whole lot of respect when it bowed 14 years ago, but thanks to the miracle of DVD, cable, and The Sci Fi Channel, it’s developed something of a cult following.

The original was really a mish-mash of genres (definitely sci-fi, but it also had a lot of slasher movie conventions), and offered up a strong performance by Peter Weller and more than capable special effects. Aside from those things, it was also incredibly creepy, especially the screamer toddlers. Those things still give me nightmares.

9:00 p.m: Loaded (English): In this feature debut by Jane Campion’s sister Anna, a party of English school leavers travels to a remote country house to shoot a low budget horror movie.

But during filming, and especially during a videotaped collective acid trip, tensions surface threatening to tear the group apart.

Director:  Anna Campion
Starring: Oliver Milburn, Dearbhla Molloy, Danny Cunningham, Catherine McCormick, Thandie Newton, Nick Patrick, Biddy Hodson.
