Is he worth it?

Until recently, I had never taken time to think about the dangerous and crazy things thousands of women do to keep ‘Mr. Right’ by their side. Today, a woman can risk her health, or even at worst her life to impress the man she loves.
She will do anything to impress her man, however much he cheats or hates her.

Until recently, I had never taken time to think about the dangerous and crazy things thousands of women do to keep ‘Mr. Right’ by their side.

Today, a woman can risk her health, or even at worst her life to impress the man she loves.

A renowned movie ‘Why Did I Get Married’, acted an eye icebreaker to me. There was this overweight woman, who would do anything to become slimmer and sexier for her unworthy husband.

There is a scene where a couple boarded a plane to meet their fellow married friends on vacation.

After she had seated, the airhost approached her and politely asked her to either pay for two seats or leave the plane, saying that it is the plane’s policy that outsized passengers pay for double seats.

Her husband, who had ignored to seat with her, but instead made himself comfortable close to a slim and elegant young lady, supported the idea of her to leave and sarcastically advised her to drive in the winter to the destined place.

Just imagine such a situation, when a person you truly love, and call a husband gives you such an attitude, especially in public.

Much as this is just a movie, but it depicts the nightmare many women and girls go through in their daily life, to maintain the relationship.

She doesn’t care about her ego anymore. All she cares most is the man on her mind, and she will do anything to keep him around till her last breath.

If you asked me, I have no definite words to term this growing trend of women sacrificing all for their lovers, like the lovers even care.

Call it self-hate, obsession, love seeking or sacrifice but women out there are losing it at a very high pace!

America’s music icon Whitney Houston is now suffering consequences of drugs. She would intoxicate her body with drugs to lose weight and appear beautiful to her husband Bobby Brown.

For all she cared, Whitney focused on making her marriage work. And what did she earn for being the good sacrificing wife, beatings!

Sacrifice is good and it makes relationships work but sacrificing one’s life is like committing suicide!

Many women will do all sorts of exercises; will starve themselves almost to death just to look the best for the lovers!

“I eat some in the kitchen, and then at the dinning I take very little food. I want to show him that I am working towards losing weight like he wants,” says Edith Kabatetsi.

It’s so unfair that whichever efforts you put towards looking this or that, he won’t love you if he didn’t feel natural love right from the beginning!

Infact, your money will just see how attention seeking you can get which will scare him away.

“We love confident women, if she doesn’t appreciate herself personally, then how will I appreciate her,” Cloude Ngamije says.

It all starts with self belief and loving yourself the way you are. They say a rose will remain a rose in all seasons. It doesn’t matter if you’re fat or slim, you’re the same.

And if your decisions are based on who you’re dating, you’ll end up losing your personality as well.

There is no point in trying to be many different people, in the end you won’t even be able to know who you truly are.

With true love, even the worst thing will attract him to you. Imagine a marriage that was based on your looks and weight!

Definitely as you grow older your elegancy will change and you’ll lose him.

And if he breaks your heart basing on your weight or looks. Don’t even waste your valuable time moaning over your loss, he definitely doesn’t deserve you.

Like all shoes have fitting feet, everyone has true love waiting for them out there. Better focus on seeking for true love than desperately changing what you can never change at times.
