Rwanda’s representative Alpha in the Project Fame academy outshone his colleagues on Saturday to earn himself a vote of confidence from the academy’s faculty while Christian along with his lover Illuminata marked the end of their dream for the TPF, money and star power.

In a dramatic eviction show, the faculty’s fans narrowly saved Kenya’s Nganga, before the teachers attributed uniqueness and star potential to officially get the Rwandan out of trouble.

The show began with the chilling announcement that two contestants instead of one as has been the norm was due for eviction on the night, thus making sense of the unusually five-long probation list.

On a sorry note Christian who had an unfortunate incident of making an out of taste comment to Judge Juliana, during last week’s probation Sunday, followed up with a less than average performance and earned himself elimination from the music academy.

In his parting shot Christian sought to make amends for his past misdemeanor by making a public apology to the judges’ panel and explaining that his statement did not express what he had meant to say.

The Ivory Coast-born Tanzanian Illuminata followed his budding love Christian out of the house after getting zero votes from fellow contestants three of which went to Uganda’s Maureen.

It was a case of real sister power as Uganda’s Leah and Maureen and Kenya’s Patricia voted to save Uganda’s Caroline while Kenya’s Debarl stuck with fellow boy in the hood Christian.

The race for the finish line now becomes intense as the seven remaining contestants go to the probation night on Sunday when more than half of them face the probation.

Alpha now becomes the most successful contestant outside of Kenya and Uganda as he now faces an intense battle amidst the two contingents from Kenya and Uganda which have come out of the first weeks unscathed by eviction.

He also becomes the second Rwandan contestant to be saved by the faculty after Nina who was evicted last week and also appeared speechless as Nina was after the decision was announced.

It remains to be seen whether Christian and Illuminata’s sentimental relationship in the house will continue beyond their life in the academy. We can only pray that they can turn their dreams into reality.
