Exploring Kigali’s night life
Kigali’s night life is on the up. Gone are days when transport agencies stopped operating at 6:30 p.m and all night joints closed as early as 8:00 p.m.
As a veteran of Kigali’s social life, I can confirm that things have changed and the new developments are; all business activities operate 24 hours and competition is the key word.
Tourists and business dealers tend to make their stops in Kigali before venturing on to other exciting places.
It’s quite impossible and unhealthy to work 24 hours a week without resting, so, stick to our Leisure Page every Friday for information on what’s happening.
One of Kigali’s oldest nightclub but still hot Cadillac VIP, in Kimihurura is a modern and uptown class discotheque. It has an extended bar and a smaller one at the smoking area and pool tables down the ramp to the left of the entrance.
The music is good and the atmosphere is very lively. It’s worth a visit if you’re in a dancing mood and you’ll not need to break the bank.
B-Club in Nyarutarama is a more executive nightclub for the A-list. The music and ambience will certainly sweep you off your feet.
Just be sure that your pockets won’t embarrass you.
Desiring for yummy pizza, Sol e Luna is your choice. The pizza restaurant serves decent pasta and pitchers of red wine.
But if you prefer to have your hot pizza, grinders, jalapeno poppers, or any of dozens of specialty items in the comfort place, Sol e Luna also offers takeaway and delivery services.
Sick of Hollywood hype?
Head to down to Cine Star cinema in Nyamirambo and step into a different world of movie magic. The new modern cinema shows latest movies at Rfw1000 ordinary lounge and Rfw2000 in VIP.
Popcorn and soft drinks are also served to quench your thirst while enjoying your movie.
