Serbia: Beware of vampires and prepare with garlic and crosses
An actual public health warning has been released, in western Serbia, against vampires on the loose.
No it’s not a prank or a belated Halloween story, the sudden concern from authorities is due to the fact that a local mill has collapsed, which was home to the nation’s most well-known vampire.
Fables claim that Sava Savanovic lived on the Rogacica River in Zarozje village, where the mill was.
It’s believed that Savanovic would drink the blood of anybody that came near the mill.
