Missing is an American mystery thriller drama television series starring Hollywood’s Ashley Judd and Sean Bean.

The storyline is based on a young man, Michael (Nick Eversman), studying in Europe and  who mysteriously disappears. His mother Becca Winstone (Ashley Judd) decides to find him at all costs.

As the investigations deepen, the mother discovers that the trends and reasons behind her son’s disappearance are far beyond her wildest imagination.  For any mother, when their child goes missing they are capable of doing anything in their power to get them back even if it means losing their life in the process.

Michael’s father, a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Agent Paul Winston (Sean Bean) was killed by a car bomb and his wife Becca lives in pain with memories of the incident.  She vows to always protect his son. Ten years later, grown up Michael goes to Rome to study but mysteriously goes missing.

Becca goes to Rome to find her son since no one took her seriously regarding his disappearance thus she decides to carry out her own investigation. Given the fact that Becca is a former CIA operative and not an ordinary woman, a dusty past is yet to be raised.
