Everybody, Nobody, Anybody and Somebody
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn’t do it. Consequently, it would up that Nobody told Anybody, so Everybody blamed Somebody.
Bad Report Card
“Dad, can you write in the dark?” asked little John. “I think so. What is it you want me to write?” replied the dad. “Your name and signature on this report card.”
“Why are you crying, Ted?” asked his mum. “Because my new sneakers hurt,” Replied Ted. “That is because you have put them on the wrong feet,” said his mum. “But they are the only feet I have.”
