Jean Pierre Ngabo, ES Ngara Nyamagabe, S.2

“When I watch movies I am able to tell if the location used in a certain movie is right or not because I learned how to choose suitable locations when shooting a film.”

Alain Guillaume Manisha, SOS, S.5

“I am a good designer and given the chance to express my talent in the film industry in Rwanda, I will do a great job and everyone will be amazed by my skills.”

Marie Merci Mukarugwiza, SOS, S.5

“I think I’d be good at directing because I only need leadership skills. My trainers and most of my friends have recognised this leadership skill in me which makes me capable of directing.”

Patrick Nsengumuremyi, Sonrise, S.4

“Film Without Borders has given me the opportunity of a lifetime to learn something that would help improve my life financially. By venturing into film, I could help the film industry in Rwanda and also make a name for myself.”

“To make a successful movie, I have learned that choosing actors isn’t just something to take lightly. The actors should be creative as well and not just leave everything to the director!”
