Do not make me lie to you

“What are you thinking about?” is probably a question I’ve been asked most by the women in my life. It is a classic example of how women like to test men, and possibly trick them into admitting that we aren’t thinking about them at a particular moment.

One minute we’re enjoying a cuddle and everything is going okay, the next she’s throwing around unexpected questions. It happens so fast that I can’t even have the time to make up a lie, let alone think straight. This makes me stutter and then I’m eventually accused of thinking of my ex.

Asking about what we’re thinking is basically a nice way of saying, “you aren’t allowed to have private thoughts, unless they’re about me”. If you think about work, she will say you care about work more than her, if it’s about your parents then you’re mama’s boy, if it’s about your friends then they are driving you away from her. If you not thinking of anything then your hiding something.

People celebrate after finishing school because of the complex equations they are asked to solve but women are a different equation altogether.
