Yes, something as trite as having your nails done can be ego-boosting. Not only will you admire your pimped up hands, but also others will notice– never a bad thing! What’s more, salons in Kigali do a great job and take their time massaging, moisturizing, and cleaning up those stray cuticles.

Serenity Spa in Kimihurura is a great place to go. Located in a house, you’ll be warmly greeted and efficiently served. The manicurists are extremely professional and do a good job.

Nyarutarama the recently opened Spa Soul Space is a truly relaxing experience with their gardens and prompt offer something to drink. While prices are a bit higher than other salons, it’s more of an authentic spa treatment with quality imported beauty products.

The best deal, however, may be the salon in the MTN Center, Nyarutarama. Juliana manages this small place, and Godfrey and Martin rule the roost in the land of nail maintenance. They’ll keep you laughing while they buff and polish those unruly nails, and they never skimp out on those essential stress relieving hand massages! Best bit? A basic pedicure will only set you back 2,000 francs. A better deal can’t be found.
