Ward off some cancers with carrot, cucumber and tomato juice

Many of us fear exercise like plague; but guess what? This time round, you do not have to run the entire town to be seen doing some sports, but you will keep healthy in the confines of your kitchen.

These are things that we see every day when we go to the market. We buy them and have some at home.They are always in season,buthave you ever thought outside the box on how you can make use of these three vegetables other than making salad and/or cook them?

We all know how beneficial carrots are to your health. But many people have to be forced to eat these vegetables. Carrots contain the cartenoid alpha carotene, beta-carotene and potent antioxidants. I recently read Antioxidant Miracle, a book by John P.Prattindicating that alpha carotene is a more potent cancer preventative and fighter than even beta-carotene. Carrots contain one of the few cartenoids with pro Vitamin A activity, which means that the body converts the beta-carotene into Vitamin A as needed. In addition, carrots contain calcium pectate, a source of soluble fiber, Vitamin B-complex, C, D, E and K, iron, calcium and phosphorous and manganese.


It is funny how some people would not buy cucumbers for eating but as a product to enhance beauty. Yet this is one food which can help you save yourself from many illnesses. This food is low in Saturated Fat, and very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Vitamin A, Pantothenic Acid, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Potassium.


Numerous studies have concluded that the more tomatoes people eat the lower their risks of certain cancers, especially lung, stomach and prostate cancers.  A substance called lycopene, which is responsible for tomatoes red color, is thought to be the reason for this cancer protective effect. Processed tomatoes contain even more lycopene than raw ones. The process of cooking breaks down the cell walls, helping to release the lycopene. Eating tomatoes with a little bit of fat, such as olive oil, helps lycopene to be better absorbed by the body.

It not easy for many of us to swallow some things when they are raw; but believe you me they are healthy.

A juice mixture of tomato, carrots and cucumber help speed up your metabolism and will soften the bowels making one answer call of nature easily. In the process of removing out all the toxic components in your body and clean your system, the phytochemicals and other helpful compounds found in these juices, help the body rid itself of cancer. If taken at least twice a week the juice could be your saving grace, overcome your fear and try it, you won’t regret it.
