Poem:Mama I love you

Mama, how will I repay you for all the things you have done? What can measure up to what you have done for me? Neither my material possessions nor emotional gestures Will begin to cover that

Mama, how will I repay you for all the things you have done?
What can measure up to what you have done for me?
Neither my material possessions nor emotional gestures
Will begin to cover that

You held me when I was little and very delicate
You changed my dippers when I soiled them
You fed me when I had neither teeth nor energy
You wiped my tears and consoled me when I cried

You taught me how to pray
And how to feed myself
You taught me how to tie my shoe laces
And to ride my first bike
You taught me how to dress myself up
And how to comb my own hair

I love you mama
Your love is unconditional and ever present
You are the greatest person I know.
