Poem: A puff that kills

You plunged into that sea without measure You plunged into that sea without pressure You plunged into that sea with pleasure.

You plunged into that sea without measure
You plunged into that sea without pressure
You plunged into that sea with pleasure.

You started with a puff, another, then a smoke
You rand and puff aguishly, smoke mercilessly
You skip classes to have a puff in the name of feeling good

You ignore the warning of its harm to your health
Not even scared of the diseases that come with it
Even after coughing and chocking several times

You search for coins to buy when there’s no money
Your breath stinks whenever you open your mouth
Your teeth tainted black and your lips burned red

Brother, Sister do you know this cask causes cancer
Do you know it is poison rolled into a cigar?
Please sister, please brother, it’s time to quit.
