It has very humble beginnings, but currently is one of the most know companies worldwide. It is the largest software corporation in the world measured by revenues. As of 2012 Microsoft is market dominant in both the PC operating system and office suite markets. The company is also active in areas including internet search (with Bing), the video game industry (with the Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles), the digital services market (through MSN), and mobile phones (via the Windows Phone OS). In June 2012 Microsoft announced that it would be entering the PC vendor market for the first time, with the launch of the Surface tablet.

SAP AG is a German multinational software corporation that makes enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. Headquartered in Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, with regional offices around the world, SAP is the market leader in enterprise application software.

It is headquartered in Paris (Rue de Tilsitt. Services are delivered through four disciplines; Consulting, Technology, Outsourcing and Local Professional Services. The latter is delivered through Sogeti, subsidiary wholly owned by Cpgemini. Capgemini was founded by Serge Kampf in 1967 as an enterprise management and data processing company. The company was inaugurated as the Société pour la Gestion de l’Entreprise et le Traitement de l’Information (Sogeti).
