Wigs are essential because they are easy to wear, are comfortable and can be removed at any time at your convenience.
“When I do not want to go to the salon because I am feeling lazy, I simply pop a wig on my head” says Lillian Uwimana, a Kinamba resident. She said that she has about four pieces she can choose from.
Some women, instead of spending hours in hair salons, choose to wear wigs.
“One time I had a wedding party and had to go for salon. But it took me almost 3 hours, which was a lot of time, since I was part of the organising committee and had to be at the wedding reception as early as possible. So from then on I decided wigs were the best choice,” Chantal Uwizeye noted.
They are very easy to maintain, says Esther Nansubuga, a hairdresser in Kinamba. All you have to do is get some warm water, shampoo, dry it and apply some hair spray to it. Or you can take it to a salon and they clean it for you.
Wigs are a very good option for people who have hair loss problems. Wigs come in different styles and colours and it’s up to you to choose which one works best.
