Women who complain of endless throbbing headaches, pimples, constipation, and dehydration have one thing in common; they don’t drink enough water.

Our bodies need water in order to remove fats and also suppress the urge of consuming a lot of food. Water also has zero calories unlike the other drinks.

Water also moisturises the skin and keeps it fresh and healthy looking thus giving it that sparkling glow. Drinking water flushes out toxins, helping to maintain good and hydrated skin.

Due to drinking little or no water at all, the body gets dehydrated and this leads to the constant headaches, dizziness, joint pains and fatigue. the therapy for this is developing a habit of drinking water.

Many women will an extra mile to keep in shape by avoiding food. The best way to avoid eating a lot is by drinking lots of water.

Water is a very effective appetite suppressant and should be taken before every meal. How do you know if you’re drinking enough water?

The simplest way to tell if you are drinking enough water is by the colour of your urine.

If the color of your urine is transparent or light yellow, then you are taking enough water but if your urine is dark yellow, then your water intake is insufficient.

According to the Mayo Clinic Staff website, the Institute of Medicine determined that women should consume 2.2 liters of water a day which is equivalent to 9 cups.

“Every day you lose water through breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water,” reads in part an article by Mayo clinic staff.

Make it a habit to drink water regularly and before every meal so you can live healthy.
