Is the casino worth a try?

You could be lucky.

Ever since the invention of money, life has not fallen short of ecstatic dramatic joy that comes with possessing vast wealth and the feeling of invincibility that rushes to the brain when someone realizes that all the pleasures of the world are within reach.

Men and women throughout the ages have struggled to be rich and have studied all they can to enrich their veins with all the skills that humanity has to offer.

Through this they have created lasting legacies for generations to come, but still, obvious dissatisfaction is expressed in their daily appetite for more prosperity.

Unfortunately not all have prospered; two men of equal strength and intellect often find themselves in awkwardly opposing status quos; whereas one gets a job easily, the other is stuck for years roaming the streets with swollen feet.

Some work tirelessly day and night but money still comes in dripping like a dry tap; the others, lazy as they seem, perform one task and money pours at them as if they massaged Aladdin’s magic lamp.

This tells me one thing, life may be what you make it, but luck has a lot to do with it. That means that whichever business venture a person pursues, regardless of how well planned they are, they will need some bit of luck on their side. Luck could pass for a blessing if you’re religious, destiny if you’re an optimist or a chance if you are an opportunist.

For example, a lucky investor will build a three star hotel and it will immediately start to cash in daily profits. An unlucky investor on the other hand will build a three star hotel and on the day of its accomplishment, a major earthquake will tear it down.

Such is the case with gambling at the casino; profits and losses are not guaranteed until they manifest. Perhaps the only difference is that your fate is known immediately in the casino, the profits or losses come there and then- no dilly dallying about like it was a real business investment.

If a person is lucky in the casino he has the chance to make as much money as that made in seven years by seven men earning seven million a day. The opposite is also sadly true, but still, one can consider a bad bet as a bad day at work.

Such a bet will make you develop goose pimples and make you very helpless, but it is worth the try.

A bad bet placed in the casino is just like thieves breaking into your house and taking everything you worked hard for; but will you avoid equipping your house with expensive stuff just because you are thief-phobic? Definitely not!

People say that betting is addictive- that once you go to the casino, you’ll never come out alive, but that is just a joke and too cliché to be true.

A wise man doesn’t put all his investments in one place- that is the simplest investment rule that even Donald Trump will be proud of. It would be foolish to take all your fortune to the casino; and there is no need to go to the casino day in day out because you will most certainly increase the chances of making losses.

Visit it once in a while, learn how they play the games, find out which type is easy for you and play it not with high expectations but as if you’re doing it for fun. I say that because the moment you go there with an obvious intention to win and it happens otherwise, you might burst out in tears and embarrass yourself.

Call it luck, a blessing or fortune but luck has always been the horse that great men ride on the way to their marble mansions. Although it is often undervalued, luck has the potential to fulfill a man’s ultimate dream.

Everyone is lucky at some point, you could be the biggest winner of the decade, or even the loser of the year, but how will you find out if you don’t experience it? Visit the casino and try your luck.
