Tottenham midfielder Sandro has appeared in a music video with a rapper who faces trial for rape.
Sandro is seen dancing in Aggro Santos’s new video for Ai Se Eu Te Pego, which also features the Brazil international’s brother Saymon Cordeiro.
Santos, who appeared in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2010, will stand trial on two counts of rape on August 13 after pleading not guilty to the charges at Chichester Crown Court in January.
Sandro has appeared in public several times with the Brazil-born London rapper, who has notched UK top 10 hits in collaboration with former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh.
The footballer sat by Santos’s side on an episode of Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side last year and even sang with his brother and the rapper in a video that went emerged on the internet in October.
Sandro has emerged as a potential midfield regular for both club and country since joining Spurs from Porto Alegre club Internacional in 2010.
Santos - real name Yuri Santos, 23, of Tooting - is accused of one rape in Chichester, West Sussex, on May 7 last year and another in Yeovil, Somerset, between September 24-27, 2010.
