The index for local counters listed on the bourse dropped by 0.31 per cent (0.37 points) to close at 123.34 points, while the All Share Index shed 0.05 points (0.04 per cent) to 127.65 points yesterday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange daily market report indicates. This was on account of a decline of Rwf2 in I&M Bank share value to Rwf105, down from Rwf107 during the previous trading session on Thursday.
The counter recorded total turnover of Rwf2.6 million from 25,000 shares traded in four deals. Crystal Telecom realised close to Rwf11.3 million in turnover from 125,000 shares traded in one deal. The firm closed at Rwf90, unchanged from the previous trading session last week. The bond market was quiet. Meanwhile, the other equities counters closed as follows; Blarirwa Rwf137; Bank of Kigali Rwf245; Equity Bank Rwf334; NMG at Rwf1,200; KCB Rfw330, and Uchumi Supermarkets at Rwf104.
