Haruna, Yanga reconcile after apology

Rwanda national football team, Amavubi Stars skipper Haruna Niyonzima has publicly apologized for his unbecoming behavior at Young Africans SC and the apology was accepted. The development was confirmed by Yanga on their official twitter account on Sunday. The former Etincelles, Rayon Sports and APR playmaker Niyonzima publicly apologized in a press conference on Sunday in Dar es Salaam and promised that whatever happened will never happen again. I regret the incident, I am sorry to club management, fans and the entire Yanga family, what happened wont happen again, the Amavubi captain said. Last November, Young Africans announced that Niyonzima was indefinitely suspended for repeated indiscipline cases of missing the club’s training and crucial matches without permission. In December, Yanga, as the Tanzanian league giants are commonly referred to, went on to announce they had parted ways with their star player after he had failed to present tangible reasons, and apology for his misconduct but his name somehow appeared on the clubs CAF Champions League squad a week later. Niyonzima arrived at the 5-time CECAFA Kagame Cup champions side from APR FC in 2011, and has been an integral part of the club. Last summer, he renewed his contract with the club by one more year.
