Rayon Sports reached the last four after winning 2-0 against rivals SC Kiyovu in Group A, thanks to goals from Jabber Manishimwe at Kicukiro Stadium on Tuesday while Sports Club Villa drew 2-2 with Gicumbi FC, which eliminated both sides. Rayon Sports finished top of the group with six points, SC Kiyovu took second position with four points, while SC Villa and Gicumbi finished with three and one point, respectively. “It was a tough match but we managed to get through it without much trouble, we are looking forward to the game against Mukura. We are going to give our best to win the match because we want to reach the final,” Rayon Sports head coach Ivan Jacky Minnaert said. AS Kigali lead group B despite suffering a 3-0 loss to Mukura on Sunday, and will face Kiyovu in the other semi-final at Mumena stadium.
