Ngirinshuti wins inaugural table tennis tourney
JEAN Luc Ngirinshuti won the inaugural national table tennis tournament held over the weekend at the NPC Gymnasium, Remera. The teenager took the men’s top prize after a 3-1 set victory over Jean Birungi while Fontaine Mukamuhizi defeated Apollinaire Nyiraziraje by a similar score to walk away with the ladies’ accolade.
Colombe Umurungi made light work of Francine Niyonsenga in the girls’ final. She won in straight sets (3-0).
