Editor, It was a great opportunity for students at Akilah Institute to receive the First Lady Jeannette Kagame who graced their graduation last week. It’s evident that the First Lady is committed to help Rwandan women live a better life.
Editor, I wish to respond to a story that was published in The NewTimes, August, 20, titled “Over 780 Genocide widows lack shelter”. Indeed, many widows need moral and financial support.
Editor,
It is interesting to learn that funds that will be collected through the newly created Agaciro Development fund (AgDF) will be invested into projects aimed at improving services in rural areas.
Editor, It is good news to hear that Nigerian government has promised to hold peace talks with the Boko Haram sect in a bid to stop violence in the West African country. Boko Haram has caused untold suffering to the people of Nigeria.
Editor, Allow me to respond to a story that appeared in The NewTimes of June, 2, titled “Habyarimana’s plane: New evidence revealed”. I come from a religious family and the Bible tells us that no matter how long it takes, the truth will never be concealed forever.
