Make your house a home to stay

A house looks beautiful if its corners are neat, clean, well-organised, and well-decorated. Net photo.
We all live in a busy world, where time waits for nobody. We can’t, however, use this as an excuse to abandon our homes – dusty, filthy and spider webs hanging over the ceiling and in all corners of the house.
Some people think that it is the responsibility of the house helper or the gardener to ensure that the house (both inside and outside) is clean and orderly. But no. That’s not the case. Those people will definitely need your supervision.
If you choose to show them that you don’t mind living in a filthy and disorganised house, they will not mind – in any case, you will have saved them from the hustle of cleaning all the time.
You may think your home is clean, but in order to prove it you must get time, especially over the weekend and take a good tour around the entire house; kitchen, store, garden...etc. Because, your home isn’t as clean as it looks.
Remember, it takes imagination and knowledge in order to reinforce your home’s cleanness for the sake of your and friends and family’s safety...before cockroaches and rats start making rounds in your sitting room in the presence of your guests.
Create a beautiful and welcoming home with fine décor and furnishings.....
You may choose to use decorations in traditional, contemporary, mission, and transitional styles. Dress up your walls with beautifully crafted mirrors in a variety of shapes, sizes, and finishes. Show off your personal style with our statement pieces.
One of the common challenges people often face when disposing their artistic skills to transform their houses into admirable homes, is to choose the best flowers. The art can easily be adapted, but unfortunately many people simply opt to follow the trend and never bother to know the essence of decorating the house.
Whatever the theme you choose, what matters most is your disposition and arty skills to transform your house into a more stylish and modern home.
Like other accessories, flowers should be decorated appropriately to match with the occasion. Beautiful natural flowers can show off your house like icing on a cake, but untidy and plain house does the opposite.
Have you ever imagined sleeping in a bedroom with roses and scented candles, enjoying the fresh colourful flowers and atmosphere in your room? The thought seems interesting!
The new trend in bedroom decoration is a brilliant idea to adopt. You can design a fantasy bedroom by including sparkling decorations, nice bright colour paints on the wall and beautiful flowers to enhance the nature to your bedroom.
There are a few different areas you can focus your attention and some areas you may not want to get too caught up with.
“When you have house guests for an extended stay, flowers say you care. They add a touch of elegance to every room,” said Elizabeth Gakoni, an interior designer.
Gakoni noted that her decorations will depend on how much time she has dedicated to it. “Usually, I arrange lots of little clusters of tea-light holders along the length of the table, and fill some with flowers and others with candles”.

Wow. How about you use photos of Rwanda homes and not net photos? Right because not many Rwandan homes fit the description.Plus science teaches us not to put plants in bedrooms because you'll be competing with them for oxygen at night. Especially for infants not a good idea to have flowers in their bedrooms.

Thank you for sharing good ideas on home cleanliness and interior décor, Linda. The idea of using mirrors to as decorative pieces is quite good. I hope it will catch on and then people can support local woodworkers by working with them to produce high quality creative pieces. We really need to move away from Dubai/China. You also say, “Show off your personal style with our statement pieces” Where are your statement pieces? How can we access them? Lastly, it’s facelift and not face-light.

I meant we need to move away from the obsession of buying low quality mass produced products from Dubai/China and using them as a status symbol. Made in Rwanda is the way to go.
