German trio to perform at Ishyo theater hall

Goethe-Institut, a Germany cultural institution in Kigali, presents a live concert at Ishyo theater hall in Kacyiru, today, starting from 7:30 p.m.
This concert of classical German and Austrian music of the 18th and 19th centuries will be presented by a Berlin-based young trio of musicians playing the grand piano, cello and oboe (hautbois).
Martin Helmchen (grand piano), Marie-Elisabeth (cello) and Thomas Hecker (oboe) have performed on prestigious stages in the world and will premier in Kigali with masterpieces of Baroque and 19th century music.
The trio’s first concert in the country was held at Kigali Serena Hotel’s lounge on Tuesday.
