Editor, the government on Saturday, last week, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with some of the leading nursing and medical institutions in the United States to improve heath care standards in Rwanda. This is good news and Rwanda’s health care system has already been applauded by many.
Editor, Allow me to respond to a letter published in The NewTimes of August, 4, titled “Africa must wean itself off aid”. Aid is not bad per se. Used properly, it can develop any country. It is even true that developed countries also received aid in the past.
Editor, I am impressed with Oscar Kimanuka’s article titled “why the Congolese people must put their act together”. Those who want to learn must read this article.
