Most people can feel close to their loved ones while on the move by tucking their favourite Kodak moment behind the plastic window within their wallet.

But Beyoncé went the extra mile, by putting a portrait of Jay-Z on her fingernail beside a snapshot of herself. The Crazy In Love singer posted the funny and utterly adorable photograph of her creative nail art on her Tumblr page.

While she failed to add any captions or comments, it was clear that the mother-of-one and her husband of four years were the centrepiece, both their heads cut out into miniscule pictures.

Beyoncé’s smiling face had been glued to the wedding finger on her left hand, while the 99 Problems star was on the equivalent finger on the right hand. As an additional touch of glitz, their faces had both been framed in gold beads.

 Upon the right hand, the MOBO-winner featured dark purple nails embellished with diamante jewels with the initial J and Z, while on the left, the letters B and N could be seen.

There were also two rogue gold nails that were decorated with a variety of gems.

But before her critics raise their eyes to the heavens, accusing her of having too much time on her hands, literally, the If I Were A Boy songbird gave a little something back yesterday.

It was announced that the former Destiny’s Child beauty, together with songwriter Diane Warren, will be donating album track I Was Here to World Humanitarian Day.

Beyoncé will film a video for the track at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York in front of a live audience on August 19.

Speaking of the campaign, she said: ‘We all see the headlines and think what can I do to help?

‘World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference.

‘This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care.’
