Florent Ndutiye works with Radio 10. He is the voice behind the Kinyarwanda news every morning at 8a.m. However, this does not keep him away from the field.

Below is how he goes on with his day of work;
I wake up at 5a.m to listen to morning news both local and international. By 6:30a.m, I am done with everything at home to leave for work. By 7 I am at the work place to prepare for the morning news.

At 8, I am on Air for about 30 minutes. I then attend the morning meeting that decides on what to do next. Unless there are emergency cases, most of the time I go to the field.

Although it may depend on what exactly I have to do out there, my target is to get back before 4p.m. This is to give myself time to work on the stories that have to make news at 4:30.

By 5, I go for studies at Great Lakes Media Centre (GLMC). I also engage in personal revision, which forces me to leave the place at around 9p.m.
By 9:30, I am at home. I take some time to relax in the sitting room as I listen to music or watch TV. By 10, I have supper and get to bed.
