“Jamdown” concert is today
“JamDown” Kigali, the premium Reggae and Dancehall event, will get underway today at D’ Venue a quaint spot in Kacyiru.
Besides the nonstop reggae and dancehall music, there will be lots of food and drinks.
The concert starts at 6p.m till late – entrance fee is Rwf3, 000.
“JamDown” Kigali is a monthly Reggae and Dancehall event that takes place at varied locations around the city.
The aim of event is to spread the message of love and unity through reggae and dancehall music.
According to Isaac Mpagi of Identity Company Limited, sponsors of the event, reggae and dancehall have been misunderstood and continuously been associated with immorality and offensive.
“All we want to prove in these monthly events is that reggae and dancehall is an art form and a way of expression to champion love and unity in reality,” said Mpagi.
