Nigerian duo, P-Square plans to sue upcoming Ugandan artiste Ray of the Big Tym Crew over copyright infringement.
According to details filtering in, Ray’s song dubbed, “Kasenyanku”, which has taken Kampala by storm, is a replication of their song.
The duo (Peter and Paul) landed on the “Kasenyanku” song on YouTube and upon listening to it, they realised it was a replication of their own song, “Me & You”.
They are reportedly hunting for good lawyers in Kampala to prepare legal papers to serve the upstart, who trembled and switched off his phone when we pressed him on the subject.
The group is famous for songs like “Do Me”, “No One Like You” and “Chop My Money” featuring Akon; all of which are popular with Ugandan music fans.
