Editor, I wish to respond to a story that appeared in The New Times last week involving a medical doctor and a senior nurse arrested by police in connection with the case of a woman reported to have lived with several surgical tools in her body, after an operation was conducted unprofessionally.
Editor, First and foremost, allow me to thank members of the cabinet who last year endorsed the proposal that required the University of Rwanda to relocate the school of journalism from Huye to Kigali.
Editor, Not so many months ago, Kigali City Council issued a directive that required all minibus and commuter taxis to be relocated from main city centre and move down to Muhima near the ‘1930’ prison.

I read in The Sunday Times yesterday a story about a women rights group which petitioned the President over the issue of safe abortions. Abortion has generated hot debate in recent months.
