Kigali church ordains new pastor
The newly ordained leader of the Revelation Church in Kigali has pledged to foster unity and harmony among Christians.
Pastor Steven Safari was ordained yesterday by Bishop Emmanuel Gasabira of Revelation Churches in Rwanda.
He is to head three churches within Kigali.
Shortly after his ordination, Safari reminded Christians that it is necessary to jointly work together in disseminating the word of God.
“I am optimistic that if we work together while upholding Christian values, all our targets will be achieved,” Safari said.
He promised to work closely with other religious denominations so as to ensure that the overall goal of preaching the gospel is achieved.
On his part, Bishop Gasabira sounded optimistic that the new church leader will enable Christians to grow spiritually.
He urged Christians to fully support the newly ordained church leader to accomplish his new tasks.
