Uwinkindi given four months to find lawyers

Today, Nyarugenge Intermediate Court granted Genocide suspect, Jean Bosco Uwinkindi four months to prepare for his pre-detention trial.

Uwinkindi, who was transferred to Rwanda from ICTR last week, had on Thursday asked court to give him four months, arguing the prosecution had ‘serious’ accusations against him and needed enough time to find lawyers.
