The Rwanda Correctional Services (RCS), last week, received a donation of 8,100 pairs of eyeglasses from a US charity organisation. This should boost the prisons education programmes.
The vetting exercise carried out by the National Council of Nurses and Midwives to ascertain whether nurses seeking employment in Rwanda have genuine qualifications is a welcome development.
