Chinese embassy will tighten Visa application procedures
Editor,
Reference is made to the story, titled ‘Human trafficking racket busted’ published in The New Times of Monday, April 16. In the story, it was stated that the National Police of Rwanda had intercepted suspected human traffickers who were about to traffic a group of young Rwandan girls to China.
The Chinese Embassy issues visas strictly in accordance with the laws of People’s Republic of China. Different kinds of documents are required for different kinds of visa to China, including business visa, tourism visa. Following this case, the Embassy will tighten the inspection of the visa application materials so as to prevent possible human trafficking.
The Embassy will try its best to curb the similar cases and protect the legal interest of Rwandan people.
