ICT firm donates to Genocide Memorial centre

Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre received a donation of Rwf1 Million from Pergamon Group Ltd, a Kenyan-based ICT firm operating in Kigali.
According to its Director, Robert Kayitani, the donation is meant to show respect in this period when Rwanda remembers the innocent lives lost in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
“Rwanda has come a long way since the genocide against the Tutsi happened in 1994. The achievements registered by visionary leaders and the resilience of Rwandans is what have made the country develop so fast,” Kayitani said, after touring the centre.
Julia Wanza, Pergamon’s Operations Manager, said that: “As a Kenyan, in the spirit of East Africa, I pay my condolences to the families of those who perished and remember with them the lives of the one million that were lost.”
