Today
La Jeunesse vs Etincelles

Rayon Sports vs Nyanza
Isonga vs Espoir
Goals from strikers Jacques Tuyisenge and Laudit Mavugo helped Police Fc beat AS Kigali 2-1 at Nyamirambo stadium yesterday to extend their lead at the top of the Primus league table standing.
Chasing their maiden silverware, Police are now on 44 points, nine points ahead of second placed Mukura whose game against defending champion APR was postponed due to the latter commitments in the CAF Orange Champions League.
However, the leaders have played two matches more than Mukura and three more than APR and Rayon Sports. Jimmy Mbaraga scored AS Kigali’s goal.
If Goran Kuponovic’s side win their remaining matches against Isonga, Espoir, Marines and Mukura, then they will become the 4th club after APR, Rayon and now defunct Atraco to win the league.
The loss for AS Kigali means that the Kigali-city owned club remains on eleventh position with 18 points.
Meanwhile, on Sunday Rayon Sports host Nyanza at Amahoro stadium and coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira is aware that nothing but a win will keep his side in the title race.
The blues who haven’t won silverware for 7 years are 13 points adrift of Police albeit with three games in hand.
Elsewhere, La Jeunesse hosts Etincelles at Mumena with Amagaju travelling to Rubavu for a date against Marines at Rubavu stadium.
Isonga will hope to gain more points against relegation battling side Espoir at Kicukiro stadium. Espoir lie in the relegation zone with six points.

Do not underestimate Police FC. These players, their seasoned Coach together with the energetic and very ambitious current leadership of the Rwanda National Police, will doubtedly soon be on top of the league. And, once there, it will be an uphill task for any club to challenge the team. The RNP leadership seem to have developed perfect strategies that other clubs need to emulate. Congs to Police FC and the RNP leadership for the feats of strength demonstrated so far!
