Kiefer Sutherland on ‘24’ movie: ‘I’m still hopeful’

Kiefer Sutherland has insisted that a 24 movie is still in the works.
The actor - who played Jack Bauer on the Fox drama - told Digital Spy that he is “still hopeful” that the project will reach the big screen.
“We have a fantastic script that I’m very excited about,” he said. “We have phenomenal filmmakers that are interested in working with us, as well.”
However, Sutherland admitted that it may prove difficult to schedule filming dates for the movie around his new drama series Touch.
“It’s a question of trying to put that package together in time, for us to do it in the break between when Touch finishes and when we would potentially start again,” he explained.
Sky1 will air Touch in the UK - the show premieres on Tuesday, March 20 at 8pm. In the US, the show’s first season resumes on March 22 on Fox.
