Editor,
Allow me to express my optimism that the national football team, Amavubi, can actually upset Nigeria on the latter’s home turf in the return leg of the African Nations Cup qualifiers in June.
Editor, I was not surprised to read in your newspaper, last week, that our government does not have the funds to construct flyovers in the City of Kigali. Indeed building flyovers at this time would be a bit of extravagance even though we need to plan for them in the future.
Editor,
I have been observing, with a keen eye, how hotels and other business hire and fire their staff. My conclusion is that nepotism is the single biggest factor in all that. A hotel owner feels more secure and confident if their investments are in the hands of their relatives in the premises, never mind if they are competent to work as managers or not.
Editor, I wish to respond to a story appeared that appeared in The New Times last week titled “Body of Missing Rwandan Discovered in Canadian River”.
