BOKOTA Labama scored a brace as Amavubi thrashed a select-side of foreign players featuring in Rwandan league in a friendly match yesterday at Amahoro stadium.
APR’s winger Jean Claude Iranzi put the national team ahead on 13th minute after unleashing a fierce shot past goalie Juma Mpongo.
Kamana Bokota Labama doubled the lead on 26th minute from a brilliant strike outside the goal area.
In the second half, Bokota beat two defenders and scored his second goal past substitute goalie Pascal Dukuzeyezu on 53rd minute.
Police hit man Meddie Kagere snatched a 72nd minute goal after dribbling past central defender Deo Othieno to fully earn a deserved victory for Amavubi.
Coach Milutin Sredojovic Micho used the game to prepare Amavubi who have a tough challenge against Nigeria in the preliminary round of 2013 Africa Nations’ Cup qualifiers whose first leg begins in Kigali on February 29 at Amahoro stadium.
