HUYE - Three people miraculously escaped death on when a Mitsubishi Fuso truck they were travelling in lost control and rammed into a tree. Two of them were admitted at the University Teaching Hospital of Butare (CHUB) but were soon discharged while the third escaped unhurt.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred at around 8.00 pm on Wednesday as the truck attempted to negotiate a sharp corner in Gahana Cell, Kinazi Sector of Huye District.

The truck, registration number RAA 711X, was carrying wooden planks and its cabin was completely smashed.
