We are all behind Rwanda for a UN Security Council Non-Permanent seat from 2012-13. Rwanda has fast risen into the pride of Africa. It is one country you are sure will go out there and play a key role in helping pacify the world, particularly on issues related to maintaining security. It’s important that loopholes are worked on to save the world of another catastrophe. We don’t need to see another genocide like the one we saw in Rwanda in 1994 – the Genocide against Tutsi. Therefore, having progressive nations in decision-making decisions such as the UNSC benefits everyone.
